I am pleased to announce the addition of Nathaniel A. Swartz , Physician Assistant, to my practice.

Nathaniel is a Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Florida, and a Certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA, he has specialized in dermatology since 2006.

He received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida.

Nathaniel is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physicians Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physicians Assistants and the AAPA(American Academy of Physician Assistants)

Nathaniel is skilled in assessing and establishing courses of treatment for abnormal skin conditions including skin cancers, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, drug eruptions, and acne. 

He has treated skin cancers and other atypical lesions as by performing curettage and desiccation, surgical excisions, cryosurgery, and photodynamic treatment.  He has assisted in Mohs Surgery and performed Mohs wound closures with experience in various flap repairs and skin grafts.

Nathaniel has performed cosmetic consultations and procedures. His cosmetic experience includes:

• Laser hair removal
• Pulsed dye laser
• Fraxel
• DOT fractionated CO2, and IPL

Nathaniel is very involved in the community and has provided complimentary skin cancer screenings at Venice Regional Medical Center and other businesses. He has also been a guest speaker for local social groups on topics of general and cosmetic dermatology.

I feel that the addition of Nathaniel to our practice will allow me to take care of our patients efficiently and accommodate them in a timelier manner.
